Kriva Palanka, 4 October 2021 (MIA) – The famous actor Djokica Lukarevski is the winner of award for outstanding contribution to theatre and culture at this year’s 13th International Theatre Festival "St. Joakim Osogovski" which is taking place in Kriva Palanka. Kriva Palanka mayor Borjancho Micevski presented the award to Lukarevski during the opening ceremony of the festival, whose programme has been shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic. Thanking for the award, Lukarevski said he was truly honoured to be one of the laureates of this theatre festival, adding, “I am really surprised and delighted to be given such respect.” The festival’s programme includes a play that will be performed by Skopje-based Theater Provocation on October 5, Belgrade-based Jugoart production is to present a play on October 6 and the play “The Gin Game” will close the festival on October 7 featuring popular actors from the Drama Theatre –Skopje, Djokica Lukarevski and Maja Veljkovikj. The theatre plays are taking place at 7:30 pm at the Kriva Palanka Cultural Centre.
