London, 18 August 2024 (PA Media/dpa/MIA) - AC Milan have announced the signing of Youssouf Fofana from Monaco for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder joins the Rossoneri on a four-year contract ahead of their season opener against Torino on Saturday.

Fofana played 32 times in Ligue 1 last season and scored four goals.

He was selected by France manager Didier Deschamps for their European Championship campaign this summer.

Fofana made three appearances at the finals before France exited in the last four to Spain.
