Ohrid, 2 August 2025 (MIA) - Around sixty swimmers will participate in the 46th edition of the small Ilinden Swimming Marathon held Saturday in Lake Ohrid.

Participants in the 2.5 km race will compete in two age categories – 10 to 15 and 16 to 36.

The race for the first age category begins at 10 a.m., and at 10:30 a.m. for the second category.

The course will be secured by medical and rescue teams from the Municipal Organization of the Red Cross, while two referee teams are responsible for ensuring its regularity.

The event is organized by the Swimming Club “Ohridski Branovi 2008”, under the patronage of the Municipality of Ohrid.
