Skopje, 17 August 2023 (MIA) - The 14th MakeDox Creative Documentary Film Festival under the motto #cutit, is set to open at Kurshumli-an, Skopje on Thursday at 8 pm and will run through August 24.

The French short documentary film 'Above the Mine' directed by Theo Audoire and Lova Karlsson and the German documentary feature film 'Dancing Pina' directed by Florian Heinzen-Ziob, are set to open the festival followed with a performance by the group Iskra.
 
The film program is divided into five categories - Main Program, Newcomers, Short Dox, Student Dox and Kids and Youth Program. The Country in Focus this year is Denmark.

In cooperation with Flipbook festival for animated movies, MakeDox will screen several award-winning animated documentary movies that were part of the Anidoc program.

The festival will be held in four locations- Kurshumli-an, the plateau at the Museum of North Macedonia, Youth Cultural Center and Suli An, while the masterclasses will be held at the Daut-Pasin Amam.
