13,300 Macedonians vaccinated in Vranje, Serbia, so far
Belgrade, 27 August 2021 (MIA) – As of Aug. 26, the total number of people vaccinated at the Vranje Sports Arena is 83,905, including people from Serbia, North Macedonia and other countries, MIA’s Belgrade correspondent reports citing figures released by the Vranje Health Center. According to Vranje News, 13,300 Macedonians, 29,510 people from Serbia, and 9 people from Bosnia have received their first dose in Vranje, and 11,106 booster shots were given to Macedonian citizens, 28,583 to Serbian citizens and 12 to Bosnian citizens. Third doses have been administered to 1,267 people so far. Sinopharm was the most commonly applied vaccine with 52,956 applications for all three doses – 26,432 for the first dose, 25,470 for the second and 954 for the third. Pfizer was given 23,825 times – 12,787 first doses, 10,752 second doses and 286 third doses. The Russian Sputnik V was administered 6,292 times – 3155 first doses, 3,110 second doses and 27 third doses. Astra Zeneca, which was unavailable for a long time, was applied 932 times – 455 first doses and 477 second doses. On Thursday, 17 Macedonians got their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine in Vranje and 16 got their booster shots. dk/mr/
