’13 November’ award winners unveiled
Skopje, 1 November 2021 (MIA) – The members of the board committee for presentation of the ’13 November’ award of the City of Skopje has unveiled on Monday this year’s winners. The award is bestowed on the occasion of liberation day of Skopje, which is celebrated on November 13. The award is presented to this year laureates: PhD Denko Maleski and Dr. Emil Nijami, author, proofreader and translator is the field of science; PhD Misho Dokmanovikj – education; Slobodan Petrovikj – journalism; Irena Kolishtrkovska-Nasteva and Liljana Pandeva, writer, poet, prose writer – culture; Emilija Dzipunova – arts; COVID-19 immunization team at the Health Center - Skopje and a medical team of doctors who performed the first surgery of vagus nerve stimulator implant in North Macedonia – healthcare;  international award winner is Rade Sherbedzija; as well as student Sandra Nedanovska and the Institute of Macedonian Literature - Skopje and Cyril and Methodius primary school in Stajkovci village. The ‘November 13’ award of the City of Skopje is awarded to distinguished individuals and legal entities of the City of Skopje for achievements in the economy, science, art, culture, education, health and social protection, sports, technical culture, the protection and promotion of the environment and nature, as well as in other segments of life, labor and creativity that contributed to the development of the city of Skopje and its overall progress and affirmation in the Republic of North Macedonia and in the world.
