Skopje, 26 May 2023 (MIA) – EU Ambassador David Geer will visit the Municipality of Krushevo on Friday. This is the seventh in the series of town hall visits following the opening of the EU accession negotiations with North Macedonia in July 2022.

The purpose of the visits is to present the new steps in the EU accession negotiations process and their impact on citizens’ everyday life, the Delegation of the European Union in Skopje said in a press release.

During his stay in Krushevo, Ambassador Geer will meet with the Mayor of Krushevo Tome Hristoski, the members of the Municipal Council and representatives of the civil society organisations.

He will participate in the presentation of the project “Krushevo and Elbasan – acknowledged cross-border tourism destination” at the paragliding centre in Krushevo.

He will also take part in a coffee debate with citizens in order to answer to questions related to the European path of North Macedonia.
 
In the evening hours, Ambassador Geer will attend the opening of the manifestation “Krushevo – City of Culture 2023” in front of the Makedonium Monument, reads the press release.
