Skopje, 25 December 2024 (MIA) – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski refrained from commenting Wednesday on the announced amnesty of the defendants in the "April 27 Organizers" case and misuse of funds in State Lottery case.
“This is a judicial decision. I have nothing to add or comment on. You may recall that during the hearings and the trial, many participants in the process gave controversial statements, so I would refrain from any further comment,” said PM Mickoski speaking at the launch of road reconstruction project leading to the Pelenica monastery in Kisela Voda municipality.
Regarding the State Lottery case, Mickoski declined to comment further but confirmed that far more than €8 million had been misused. When asked whether these funds had been invested in cryptocurrencies, he said he would not comment on anything related to the ongoing investigation.
