Former deputy PM Artan Grubi detained at Blace border crossing
Skopje, 23 February 2026 (MIA) - Former first deputy PM and minister of inter-community relations Artan Grubi was detained at Blace border crossing early on Monday.
Artan Grubi, 48, wanted under an international arrest warrant for crime in line with Article 354 of the Criminal Code, was detained at the Blace border crossing today at 06.10 am, the Ministry of Interior has said.
On 18 December 2024, the Interior Ministry issued an international arrest warrant for Grubi and ex-head of the State Lottery, Perparim Bajrami, suspected of misappropriating around EUR 8 million from the State Lottery.
