Skopje, 17 March 2026 (MIA) — The office of Shaban Saliu, minister without portfolio in charge of integration and implementation of the Roma Inclusion Strategy 2022-2030, has partnered with the Austrian Embassy and the National Gallery to host a youth art workshop Tuesday at the Chifte Amam gallery in the Old Skopje Bazaar.

According to a press release from Saliu's office, the workshop — titled "Flora, Fauna and Roofs" — brings together Roma and Macedonian students to encourage their socialization and creativity.
Taking part in the workshop are students in grades five through nine from Avram Pishevski Elementary, children from the Bardovci and Zlokukjani neighborhoods in the Municipality of Karposh.

The workshop aims to raise cultural awareness and foster mutual understanding between diverse student groups. It also aims to motivate their personal development and continued education as well as affirm shared values.
"This event is an example of successful cooperation between institutions and international partners in promoting inclusion and creating equal opportunities for all children," the release said. mr/
